Do you agree that a licencing system should be put in place to prevent damage to homes and that livelihoods downstream aren’t compromised in order to shoot more grouse?

Ill sign anything that lessens the negative impact of any type of grouse moors. Those 'custodians of the countryside' need to manage it for the good of the environment, or take it away from them.

The upland areas of Scotland could provide so many benefits to the people of Scotland and reducing impacts from high rainfall events is just one of them. It is crazy that the uplands are being managed in a way that is so destructive for ecosystems to benefit so few people.

Grouse shooting is clearly not a flood risk. The management of moorland for grouse involves a number of practices which positively aid flood prevention.

Grouse moors are managed FOR grouse and the management results in flooding depleted tree cover and species poor land, together with consequential flooding.
