Keep your business moving: new video explainers on doing business with Europe

To support firms, the Business Department has launched a series of new, on demand videos to help businesses familiarise themselves with the new rules and actions they should be taking. Businesses can find out more about 18 topics, including importing and exporting, trade, data, audit and accounting as well as sector specific guidance.

HMRC – What are customs import declarations?

This webinar explains how to make import declarations to import goods between the EU and Great Britain, including simplified and supplementary declarations, as well as the key terminology and new processes.

Defra – Importing products of Animal Origin (POAO) from the EU into GB

The webinar explains what actions you need to take to export goods from Great Britain to the EU and move goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We’ll provide a run-through of the key export processes – staged border controls, zero-rated VAT, customs declaration, using an intermediary as well as licences, certificates and authorisations that you’ll need.
