Parliamentary recess dates in 2021
There is no February recess in 2021.
The Scottish General Election (Coronavirus) Act 2020, allows changes to the normal arrangements for elections. This means dissolution of the Parliament is now expected to take place on 5 May 2021, the day before the Scottish Parliament election on 6 May 2021.
The Parliament has agreed it will go into recess from 25 March until 4 May 2021.
Recess dates for Session 6 of the Parliament will be agreed after the election.
