Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to protect the future of the taxi trade by:

• providing financial support to taxi drivers;
• setting up a national stakeholder group with trade union driver representatives;
• reviewing low emission standards and implementation dates

I am a full time taxi driver and due to the current climate due to covid I am finding it impossible to cover overheads which consists of unavoidable costs such as loan for new vehicle I had to buy also service plan combined with insurance, road tax which continue to run. Also the obvious home expenses. I am unable to advance my business in any due way to the regulations set for the trade all i can do is sit and wait for hours currently giving a return of less than minimum wage. I am very grateful for all the assistance been offer but i feel if business continues to be so poor i fear i will have to fold my business. Thank you Steven Roy
