A comic by Beath High School and Magic Torch Comics

The Scottish Parliament is a place that uses a lot of words. But different areas and jobs use language differently and for a different purpose. This comic, by Beath High School, looks at how SPICe organises and presents information for MSPs and the public, and the precision required to draft new legislation.

There are four downloadable versions of the comic: English, Gaelic, screen-readable with alt-text and a powerpoint suitable for screens.

This comic, and its companion, Language in Parliament 1, are supported by downloadable teaching resources suitable for English classes from Nat 3 up
