This post offers an exciting opportunity to provide professional administrative support and confidential secretarial services to the Head of Donor Services, Donor Operations and Resourcing Manager and the Admin department in Northern Arch.
We are recruiting an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible person to undertake this challenging and interesting post.
This post is based in Northern Arch/ Dundee Donor Centre, Ninewells Hospital and will require travel to meetings.
Candidates must be educated to higher grade level or demonstrate equivalent experience. We are looking for an individual who has a customer focused approach, is organized and adaptable. You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi task and be able to work under pressure. You must possess high working knowledge off Word, Excel and Access software packages whilst also having excellent key board skills. Previous relevant healthcare administration experience is advantageous.
Working days are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check

Based in Livingston, NHS Scotland Counter Fraud Services (CFS) has the remit to protect NHS Scotland from fraud and other financial crime. In achieving this, CFS provides a comprehensive, integrated and professional service to NHS Scotland by proactively identifying and undertaking investigations of suspected fraud. We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our Intelligence Team.
You will play a key role in the intelligence team, whose principal activities include: data collection and collation, data analysis, data interpretation, reporting, research and innovation to support all counter fraud work.
The successful candidate will have specialist analytical skills and extensive knowledge and practical experience of intelligence techniques to support the dissemination of criminal intelligence across CFS, NHS Scotland and other law enforcement agencies to target fraudulent risk and fraudulent crime.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking nurse who enjoys working as part of a team. You will require excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. An active interest in training and quality assurance would also be beneficial. Within your role you will contribute to the overall management and smooth running of whole blood and blood component sessions ensuring donors feel welcome, comfortable and valued. You will be required to undertake venepuncture and medical selection duties.
The position is based in Aberdeen; however extensive travel throughout the region is required. You must be flexible, and willing to work variable hours. Hours will include regular Sundays and late evenings. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency. Candidates must have current NMC registration at the time of applying. We do this by providing a range of specialised support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care.
In order to meet the increasing demand for Primary Care Systems development from Health Boards, SGHSC and P&CFS operational business, DaS are seeking to recruit a Test Analyst to support the delivery of Business IT services for national IT Systems used by NHS Scotland.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to contribute to the provision of Testing & BAU services within Business IT to support system development, enhancement & maintenance across NHS Scotland. The post holder will contribute to systems, to enable enhancement and access to electronic data for health professionals.
You will have excellent software testing, communication and inter-personal skills and be able to work as a member of the Business IT department liaising with customers, stakeholders, health professionals in NSS and NHS boards as well as suppliers involved across the development lifecycle of systems. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and decision making skills, exhibiting a high degree of accuracy whilst providing knowledge and skills as part of a team of specialist test analysts. You will have experience of working on large scale national IT systems developments as well as maintaining BAU services. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with proven track record of system and software testing and delivering across the systems development lifecycle. You should also be able to work across multiple projects with different priorities, managing the conflicting demands that this entails.
