Minimum wage for agricultural workers

The minimum wage for agricultural workers in Scotland can be different to the minimum wage in other jobs.

The Scottish Agricultural Wages Board is a public body that meets 2 times a year to decide:

  • the minimum gross wages payable to agricultural workers
  • conditions for holiday pay
  • conditions for sick pay
