How to book a place on Mandatory training, also includes information on fees and other pre-requisites.
To register for a place, please go to the NES Portal and create an account.
Please note:
Once you have created an account, go to ‘iBooklet’ and use the ‘Search for …Face to Face Training’ tool. Search for ‘Mandatory Training’ use ‘Book Now’ to complete your booking. On completion of your bookings, your place will be confirmed and we will contact you with further information.
Parts 1 and 2 fees £350 covers the 3 days of training (7 sessions) ONLINE ONLY (For dentists who have not worked on an NHS list in Scotland or the UK within 12 months)
Part 2 fees £200 covers the 2 days of training (4 sessions) ONLINE ONLY
(For dentists who are currently included on a dental list in England, Wales or Northern Ireland and have not worked in Scotland within 12 months required to complete Part 2 only)
In addition to the above, the fee for the test of knowledge assessment will be £50 and will be added to your fee.
Once you have registered you will receive information regarding access to training materials.
Certificates will be issued after completing and passing the test.
CPD Certificates for course attendance are available after the course via Portal.
Test of Knowledge (TOK) is required as part of Mandatory training. Once you have registered for the relevant mandatory training course (and test of knowledge) you will receive a login and password for the test of knowledge and will be able to start using the practice site. We recommend practice as much as possible in advance of the course. Please click here for more information:
