What is Primary Care SIFS?
SIFS is a programme intended to support individuals to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to participate as members of improvement teams. People taking part in this course will learn how to contribute to testing, measuring and reporting on improvements made as part of Primary Care focused improvement projects.

Any GP can apply for this course and funding, but to support GP recruitment and retention, and the aims of cluster working, it may be particularly suited to:
The Scottish Government is providing funding of 10 professional activity sessions of ‘back-fill’ time (up to a total of £2100 per GP) to enable GPs to develop their knowledge and skills in QI and undertake a relevant QI activity. Up to 70 places for GPs will be funded.
