Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean, Dr Donald Thomson
Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean, Dr Ailsa Morrison
My name is Donald Thomson and along with my colleague, Ailsa Morrison, we are the Associate Postgraduate Dental Deans with responsibility for Dental Core and Specialty training in Scotland. On behalf of the entire Dental Core Training team, we would like to welcome you to your new post as a Dental Core Trainee in Scotland.
The Turas Learn website where you are reading this contains further information about the Dental core training team, applying for study leave, your portfolio and reviews of competence progression (RCP). The requirements for a satisfactory outcome at the end of your training year are also outlined on this Turas learn site.
We hope that you enjoy the year ahead and are able to make the most of the opportunities it gives. Should you have any queries, please contact your Educational Supervisor in the first instance and they can liaise with your Core Training Adviser, if necessary.
