Qualifications are reviewed every five years but during that period we can &#8220;tweak&#8221; qualifications in response to suggestions from centres. The process is straight-forward:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you suggest a change<\/li>\n<li>we check the suggestion with the Qualifications Support Team (QST)<\/li>\n<li>we implement the change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are three ways for you to suggest a change to a qualification. You can use our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/36524.html\">Ideas Capture Form <\/a>or submit a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/files_ccc\/3DAVAL2.doc\">DAVAL 2 form<\/a>\u00a0or complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/1drv.ms\/w\/s!Av71_tveB0_uhMZosmgOFZqjQ2_ulQ\">form devised by my team<\/a>. Whatever method you use, we will then take it forward. The QST approves most suggestions so your idea will, most probably, be accepted. The exception is when the change is significant &#8211; normally a change to the mandatory part of a qualification, which requires it to be revalidated and recoded.
