The validation will take place on <strong>Tuesday, 7 June<\/strong>. We hope to have the revised awards available to centres from <strong>1 August<\/strong>. We&#8217;re currently looking for members for the Validation Panel so please <a href=\"mailto:helen.zhang@sqa.org.uk\">contact Helen<\/a> if you&#8217;re interested (please note that anyone involved with the development is not eligible to serve on the Panel).<\/p>\n<p>This has been a big update. For one thing, the QDT is proposing title changes. The revised awards will \u00a0(we hope) be called:\u00a0<em>HNC Digital Design\u00a0&amp; Web Development<\/em>,\u00a0<em>HND Web Development<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>HND Digital Development<\/em>. There has also been lots of changes to the component Units. We think that the revised awards will be much better (and much more up-to-date) than the existing qualifications. They will include new (or revised) Units such as: <em>Emerging Technology<\/em>, <em>Physical Computing<\/em>, and <em>Digital Imaging<\/em>.
