Not only the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/74738.html\">NPAs<\/a> but also the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/files\/nu\/H9T544.pdf\">National Unit<\/a>. The most common comment\u00a0is: &#8220;My school is interested in offering these awards but I&#8217;m not sure how I go about it.&#8221; So, here is an update on the current position.<\/p>\n<p>Both the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/files\/nu\/H9T544.pdf\">National Unit<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/74738.html\">National Progression Awards<\/a> are available <strong>now<\/strong>. These qualifications are <strong>auto-approved<\/strong> for all Scottish schools and colleges. The NPAs have a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/files_ccc\/GK7W44_GK7X45_GK7Y46.pdf\">Group Award Specification<\/a>, which includes advice about delivery and what you need to know. Each of the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sqa.org.uk\/computing\/cyber-security-units\/\">unit specifications<\/a> provides information on the contents of the units and specific advice about delivery of the unit.\u00a0There are extensive <a href=\"http:\/\/ushare.education\/Ushare\/Home#ffavt2ca53549-2a0d-4062-9920-85a6a73a70f8\">uShare resources<\/a> for the\u00a0NPAs to help\u00a0with teaching and learning. Assessment Support Packs are currently being produced for all of the units. These will be ready in the next few weeks. The assessment of knowledge will be done using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqasolar.org.uk\/mini\/27322.html\">SOLAR<\/a>, and this, too, will be available in the near future.
