Stepping Stones is a professional learning programme for recently qualified teachers in the first four years of their career post probation. It is developed in partnership between Education Scotland and GTC Scotland, together with post-probation teachers.
Teachers applying for Stepping Stones do not need to currently be employed or have access to Glow to participate in the programme.
This session, Stepping Stones has a variety of exciting professional learning opportunities and support to offer. This diverse programme offers a range of options which you can select and shape into your own professional learning pathway. The programme is flexible, and you can engage in as many offers as you wish. Book upcoming events in the Workshops section below.

This programme aims to increase the confidence skills and knowledge of early career teachers through interactive professional learning experiences which support thinking, reflection and engagement with the Professional Standards. Opportunities to co-create and lead aspects of the programme are also available.
Stepping Stones is for all registered teachers in their first four years post-probation.
