NPA Esports validation
Since I announced this development in January, a lot of progress has been made. We’ve decided on a qualification structure and identified the new units that need to be developed, which we’re in the process of writing. The validation event for the qualification will take place on 6 July. We’ve compressed the development process to ensure that the qualification is available to centres for the start of the new term (August). Several centres have expressed an interest in offering it next session.
The purpose of validation is to ensure that the qualification meets people’s expectations. The validation panel comprises people who have not been involved in the development. We’re currently identifying individuals who are willing to serve on the panel. A validation panel normally comprises representatives of schools, colleges, universities, employers and national organisations.
I would appreciate if you would contact Megan if you’re interested in participating in the validation event. It’s a relatively small commitment in terms of time. The event takes place online and lasts a couple of hours.
