Scottish early learning and childcare practitioners' courses

Scottish early learning and childcare practitioners' courses

Welcome to the module ‘Identifying and supporting additional support needs in early learning and childcare’ (ELC).

This module has been commissioned by the Scottish Government and produced in partnership with members of the Early Childhood team at the Open University.

The content of the module reflects Scottish Government policy and is aimed to enhance the quality of practice for supporting children who have additional needs.

Whatever your level of experience and knowledge and whatever ELC setting you work in, you will find content in the module that will help you to reflect and develop your understanding of what you can do to get it right for every child in Scotland.

There will be a number of presentations of this course throughout 2020–2022 as follows:

2020: March, May, July, September and November
