The Economic Value of Adult Social Care
Adult social care contributes £3.4b to Scottish economy
The adult social care sector contributes £3.4 billion to the Scottish economy, a new report into the economic impact of the sector has found. The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) published the report today, at the same time as the UK, England, Northern Ireland and Wales published similar reports.

Mental Health Officers (MHO) data 2016 - additional tables
These spreadsheets present additional MHO data for 2016 that does not appear in the 2016 MHO report or in the full MHO time series data. In November 2017, data was provided for 2016 on filled MHO posts and estimated average weekly hours on MHO work by health board, MHOs in Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs), MHOs by contract type and MHOs by employee status. In March 2018, further data was provided for 2016 on a) MHOs by post type, sub-sector and MHO type, and b) MHO contracted hours, work hours and % work hours of contracted hours by post type, sub-sector and MHO type.
