Discover Coll
Discover Coll
The Isle of Coll has long been regarded as one of the Hebrides' hidden gems, with its picturesque village and pristine white beaches. This small island, is a firm favourite with thousands of visitors every year.
During this 4x4 tour, you'll be hosted by a native islander, who will help you explore some of Coll's unique spots, including a trip to the impressive two castles and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds' nature reserve and visitor centre. This off-road adventure also gives you a chance to enjoy a dazzling beach, as well as a stroll through Arinagour village, with its shops, cafe and hotel, you can savour the magic of this friendly island, the inspiration for children's author Mairi Hedderwick's feisty red-haired character Katie Morag.
The longer Wednesday tour takes you on a circular trip and brings you back to the village, allowing free time to plot your own adventure, perhaps even try a spot of kayaking or cycling, before catching the evening ferry home. Be warned though, once visited, you may need to keep coming back!
