We have up to date information on events and offer an excellent service for accomodation bookings. We have the 12th Century Abbey right next door to us. We are in the National Trust Building this year and our Centre leads to one of two gardens, Priorwood, with Harmony just 150yds away. There is the Roman Museum which offer guided walks out to Newstead, one of the oldest inhabited villages in Scotland, and then onto Trimontium, the site of the Roman Fort. Our office looks out onto the Eildon Hills, which is popular with all abilities of walkers and a great place to take in the Border country from a height. A 5 min drive takes you to Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott and a 10 min drive takes you to the breath taking view of Scotts View and onto Dryburgh Abbey. We are also the home of the Rugby 7s tournament and the annual competition takes place every April at the Greenyards.
