The new Climate Change Bill will immediately set a target of a 90% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The draft Bill sets out that the Scottish Government intends to go further still and achieve a 100% reduction in emissions, known as ‘net-zero’.

The Scottish Government believes that staying in the EU is the best option for the whole of the UK and Scotland.
Failing that, we believe the UK and Scotland must remain inside the Single Market and Customs Union.
