After a day filled with exploring the sights and sounds of Inverness, you'll be wanting to grab a refreshing drink somewhere. We've popped down a couple of suggestions of where to sample some of the local night-life in Inverness.
Hootananny – If you’re wanting a taste of live traditional Scottish music then Hootananny is for you. The bar puts on local and national musicians every night, as well as a weekly ceilidh.
Bar One – The place to go in Inverness if you’re wanting to have a cocktail! Bar One offers a wide variety of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers. If you fancy yourself as a budding mixologist, you can even try your hand at making a cocktail.

If you fancy something a bit more traditional, the Phoenix Ale House pub on Academy Street is great, and they have a restaurant next door serving food all day.
The Castle Tavern on Castle Street is also quite good - its beer garden has great views of Inverness Castle and dogs are welcome too.
