64. The Scottish Government will consult all interested parties fully on its plans, priorities and programmes for Scottish Official Statistics.
65. For most Scottish Government Directorates these plans, priorities and programmes will be part of broader analytical planning alongside social and economic research and analysis.
66. The Scottish Government will issue draft plans and priorities to interested parties, and provide scope for Parliament to comment on final plans and priorities prior to publication.
67. Particular emphasis will be given to openness on the range of statistics produced and to information which is not included within the Official Statistics but where there may be a public interest in it (see paragraph 18 onwards).
