Access Keys

The functionality of the access keys depends on the operating system you are using. The attribute is supported by MS Internet Explorer 4 and above and by Netscape 6x versions.

Windows

• Hold the ALT key.
• Press the access key.
• Release both the ALT key and the access key and press return.

Macintosh

• Hold the CTRL key.
• Press the access key.
• Release both the CTRL key and the access key and press return.

Print Friendly Pages

All pages on this website are print friendly.

Adobe PDF Files

There are many PDF files on this website. To view PDF files you will need Adobe Reader® [2]. Download it free from the Adobe Acrobat website.

Also on the Adobe Acrobat website are online conversion tools for Adobe PDF documents [3]. These will convert to text PDF files that are in English and most West European languages.

Changing Text Styles (size, colour, font)

Most web browsers allow you to change text and link styles. More advanced features (such as magnification and alternate style sheets) are also available in certain browsers.

To find out what browser/version you are using, choose 'Help' then 'About' from the top menu in your browser. Below are instructions for Internet Explorer 5 and above. If you are using another browser, look for similar instructions in 'Help' in your browser's top menu.

Internet Explorer (Versions 5 and above)

Changing the text size

Press "Ctrl" and "+" keys together to zoom in a page. Repeat it until the size of text is as required.

Changing the text colours/fonts

You need to override the website styles:

• From 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options'.
• Choose the 'Accessibility' button (bottom-right).
• Check the boxes relevant to your needs.
• Click 'OK' to return to the options menu.

Then you may alter the colours/fonts:

• From the options menu, choose the 'Colors' button.
• Uncheck 'Use Windows Colors' and set the colours you want.
• Click 'OK' to return to the options menu.
• Choose the 'Fonts' button and then select the web page font you want.
• Click 'OK' to return to the options menu.
• Click 'OK' to close 'Internet Options' dialog box.
