Deputy First Minister launched more information about how children's progress will be assessed at school:
This includes information on the new national standardised assessments that are being rolled out in August 2017 that have a role within assessment more broadly.
Information has been made available for parents and carers on assessment and more detailed information for teachers alongside a Q&A.
