The questionnaire was developed by the Care Quality Commission and is also being used to undertake a survey in England. We made minor edits to the questionnaire to ensure that it is appropriate in a Scottish context.
The other survey materials have been developed by the Scottish Government in partnership with the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) Research Unit. The Unit is jointly run by Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Stirling.
The survey materials are available below and include:
- a questionnaire
- a covering letter to be sent with the questionnaire
- a reminder letter sent to people who didn't respond to the initial mailout
- a second reminder letter sent to people who didn't respond to the second mailout
- a poster that was displayed in maternity units during February and March to raise awareness of the survey
