MV Argyle
About
MV Argyle, Earra-Ghaidheal in Gaelic, alongside her sister ship, MV Bute, operate sailings between Wemyss Bay and Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. She is the seventh ship on the Clyde to bear the name and the old spelling of 'Argyle' is used as her most prominent ancestor was the paddle steamer 'Argyle' that sailed from Wemyss Bay for 25 years.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due the current Covid situation we have closed all of our retail outlets on board our vessels and at ports. We understand this will impact our passengers and we urge our customers to plan ahead particularly when travelling on longer sailings.
