Technical Operator
Salary: £14.55 per hour
Working pattern: We have temporary vacancies (from beginning of August 2020 until 31 March 2021), working 22 hours 12 minutes per week, Tuesday to Thursday inclusive.
Location: Holyrood, Edinburgh

Are you skilled in the operation of broadcasting audio and vision equipment? If so we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for Technical Operators who share our values and can work with us to support the production of the televised and audio coverage of the Parliaments proceedings in the Chamber and committee rooms.
We are looking for someone who has an up to date understanding of a broad range of audio broadcast equipment and remote camera control systems. You’ll be skilled in the operation of broadcasting audio and vision equipment, including live audio-visual interfaces requiring rapid technical reactions.
You’ll have social and political awareness in order to dealing with the people involved in parliamentary business and in the context of formal parliamentary protocols. You’ll have excellent communication skills, be adept at problem solving and have the confidence and ability to act quickly to resolve issues.
