NES Bereavement Conferences

Following the success of the inaugural NES Bereavement Conference on 11th November 2019, the NES Bereavement team will be running a conference this year on Wednesday 24th February 2021 at the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. 

As a health or social care professional, to be kept up to date with details of future conferences, you may wish to sign up to our quarterly e-newsletter.

Short Educational Animations

This animation is one example of the short educational videos NES have produced for health and social care professionals around bereavement - please visit our video wall to see more.

Discussing dying is something most of us shy away from. The potential discomfort is not just in the patient’s mind - it’s also likely to be in the minds of the professionals who are looking after them. This NES video aims to help healthcare professionals discuss dying openly and honestly with their patients.
