Over the next few months NRS will be carrying out a series of mailing exercises which aim to validate household addresses being used in Scotland’s Census 2022. This will ensure every eligible residence receives its paperwork, allowing them to complete their questionnaire.

The way we issue our regular census news has changed. We now issue our news through the ScotStat newsletter and plan to provide more regular and shorter news items which will target specific groups of stakeholders. If you would like to be on the mailing list for this, please send your name and email address to the communications team to ensure you receive these regular updates. If you know of any stakeholders who would like to receive these newsletter, please advise them to send us their details to be added to the mailing list.

Scotland’s Census 2022 are holding virtual events to discuss our current plans for outputs, and further develop our plans.
These events will cover the impact of the census move to 2022, derived variables, the release schedule for outputs, UK harmonisation and plans for the new Scotland’s Census website.
