NES Bereavement Webinar Series

 

 

 

NHS Education for Scotland is continuing its bereavement webinar series in 2021, with sessions for health and social care professionals that cover various death and bereavement-related topics. Over 900 people have attended to date with positive feedback having been received:

Topics have included e.g. 

  • Managing bereavement in the workplace
  • Supporting children who are bereaved during and after the pandemic

Short Educational Animations

Discussing dying is something most of us shy away from. The potential discomfort is not just in the patient’s mind - it’s also likely to be in the minds of the professionals who are looking after them. This NES video aims to help healthcare professionals discuss dying openly and honestly with their patients.
