We provide 30-minute guided tours around the Kinnaird Head castle and lighthouse building.
Due to ongoing Works/Maintenance we are unable to Conduct Guided Tours up the Lighthouse at present. We are still Opening the Museum for Museum ONLY Tickets, but not the Lighthouse.
In response to COVID-19 we have significantly changed our operations to keep the museum as safe as possible for visitors and staff. These measures will take effect immediately. We have worked hard and taken all possible measures to keep our museum safe.
The most important change to our operation is that all visitors must book a visiting slot in advance of arriving at the Museum. Our ticket sales will be administered by See Tickets with bookings being made on this page. Please use the link to book your visiting slot.
Another big change is that we will be running tours in bubbles/groups. Until advice changes this will be strictly on a one group, one guide basis. It is therefore important to book as a party (whether than be a party of 2 or party of 10) when you book your tour. Tours will last for half an hour. It is therefore important that you arrive at the museum for your designated time.
In accordance with Government guidelines, we will need to capture contact details including name, address and telephone number for all visitors to assist with NHS Scotland’s Track and Trace. These will be kept in line with our data privacy policy and not used for marketing purposes.
