Ben Nevis Trike Hike 2022Looking for volunteers. A chance to take part in a charitable event, raising funds and awareness for the Samaritans. Free to enter. My name is Paul Grundy and I plan on getting to the top of Ben Nevis on June 11th in a home built offroad wheelchair that I will design and build myself. Last year myself and a team did Helvellyn, in the Lake District, raising money for the mental health charity Mind. It was a great success and this year we want to go bigger and take on the mighty Ben Nevis. We need around 20 strong, fit people to help pull, push and lift my wheelchair to the top. It's for a great cause and will be something to remember.
I can walk short distances with my walking sticks but could never get to the top of Ben Nevis without help. So if you are up for something adventurous this summer why not come along and help out. It promises to be a great day with some very nice people.Here's a pic from last years trip to Helvellyn...
