The Inner House of the Court of Session has published its opinion on whether the SLCC is entitled to apply for the production and delivery of documents which would otherwise be covered by legal professional privilege.
The Scottish Legal Complaints Commission has appointed three law firms to its advisory and litigation panel following a competitive tender process run through the Public Contracts Scotland portal.
As well as dealing with complaints, the SLCC provides a best practice service for legal practitioners. Today the organisation has published details of its engagement with the profession over the past year.
