From Friday 26 May - Thursday 29 June inclusive: MV Alfred will continue to be deployed on the Ardrossan-Brodick route until 29 June, MV Caledonian Isles will continue to operate to the below timetable as a bookable service. From Friday 26 May, MV Alfred will operate three return sailings per day, Friday-Monday, and two return sailings Tuesday-Thursday, berthing at the Irish berth, Ardrossan. These sailings will be non-bookable. View timetable here.
From Friday 30 June - Thursday 27 July: As a result, MV Alfred will continue to service the Ardrossan-Brodick route alongside MV Caledonian Isles until 27 July. From 30 June, MV Alfred will operate to the current published timetable and those customers who were booked on MV Isle of Arran will be transferred to MV Alfred. We will contact those customers who will be impacted.
If you plan to travel to Arran by foot, but have not yet booked travel, we would encourage you to do so on board MV Caledonian Isles sailings, where possible.
MV Alfred facilities: Please be advised that all passengers will require to access the vessel via a ramp and no retail offering will be available onboard.
The final week of the summer timetable, 16 October - 22 October inclusive, will be released in due course, following completion of the overhaul period. We will keep you updated here on our website and via @CalMac_Updates on Twitter.
