The plan sets out how we will promote and protect the rights of young BSL users, how we will involve them in our work, and how we will promote the use of BSL to improve access to information and services for BSL users.  

Our Plan 2024-28 is launched today – and it has children and young people at its heart

All Scouts up to 18 in Scotland can now Explore new human rights badge 

Explorers can now complete their Rights Challenge Badge – launched today – meaning every child in Scouts Scotland can learn about, understand, and demonstrate their knowledge about human rights. 

National Child Protection Guidance review must be comprehensive

All children have the right to protection from all forms of abuse or harm, in all aspects of their lives. The Scottish Government’s next review of the National Child Protection Guidance must be comprehensive and include risk of harm in all environments.
